PHILIPS HUE SMART BULBS
Follow these simple steps to get your new devices ready to go!

Download the Alexa app.
The Echo is accessed via the Alexa app from your phone or tablet. Search for "Alexa app" from the Apple App Store, Google Play, or the Amazon Appstore.
If you don't already have your own Amazon account:
- you can sign up on Amazon, or
- log in using Rafi's default login sent to you in your welcome e-mail.

Connect the Echo to your wi-fi network.

From your Alexa app:
Menu > Settings > __'s Echo Plus > Update Wi-Fi

Connect your lights.
- If you are using Rafi's default login:
You are ready to go! No additional apps or Skills are required for voice control.
- If you are using your Personal Amazon login:
You may need to re-discover and pair the Hue bulbs to your own Alexa profile:

- Personalize your experience! Use the "Smart Home" section within the Alexa app to rename individual lights, or set your own groupings as you see fit.
Try Saying:
"Alexa, turn on kitchen lights." or "Alexa, turn on living room lights."

Connect the Nest.
* This step only applies to units that are already equipped with the Nest thermostat.
Units with the Nest thermostat can integrate voice-control through Alexa by enabling the "Nest Thermostat" Skill.
You will need your own nest account login.
Use the "Smart Home" section within the Alexa app to rename the thermostat as you see fit.
Try Saying:
"Alexa, set living room temperature to 68 degrees." or "Alexa, what's the temperature in the living room?"
